Do you work your brain as much as you work your body?

Think about it. We are an image obsessed generation that spends a hell of a lot of time focused on how we look, and putting in the hours at the gym to make our bodies look the way we want them to. But how much time do we spend on our mental health? Or furthering our own personal development and learning? What would happen if we spent the same amount of time focused on exercising our brains, as we did our bodies?

I’m super excited to be taking part in a new campaign with The Open University and David Lloyd Clubs, to help people do both – work their brains just as much as their butts!

On Thursday 1st September we’ll be hosting a trial fitness and learning class at the David Lloyd Finchley Gym (North London) from 7-8pm to show exactly how this will work – so you can be working your bodies hard but also challenging your mind at the same time. I’ll be there taking part, so hope as many of you can join us as possible 🙂

Right now in most gyms, unless you are listening to your own audio book, most people are just listening to music or watching Sky Sports on the TVs. Its no secret we are a nation that love to multi task (myself included!) so this idea really spoke to me! How awesome would it be to be challenging our minds at the same time as we are challenging our bodies. Imagine the results we would get!

Hope you can join us for the class, too!
